Bill Chow

Bill Chow was born June 12, 1922 in Cumberland, British Columbia.

During the Second World War he became a member of Force 136: the secretive commando unit trained by the British Army and sent to Southeast Asia to work behind Japanese lines.

He was trained here in Canada, then in England and finally sent to India.

After the war, and now back in Canada, Bill studied horology and opened a jewelry shop in the Vancouver neighbourhood of Kerrisdale.
