Frank Wong
Frank Wong was presented with the Kingdom of the Netherlands Medal of Remembrance for his part in the liberation of Holland in 1944. The Consul General Joop M. Corijn awarded the medal at a simple ceremony held Thursday, May 8, 2003 at the museum in front of family and friends. President Howe Lee presided the occasion and presented the Consul General with a copy of Marjorie Wong's The Dragon and the Maple Leaf. After the brief ceremony, he conducted a VIP tour of the museum with the Consul General and his wife.
A special dinner at Foo's Ho Ho with three tables full of guests was held in honour of The Consul General and his wife which ended an enjoyable evening.
