Jean Lee was stationed at RCAF Depot, Eastern Air Command, at Rockcliffe, Ontario. She served from 1942 to 1945.
In February 1947, she and six other veterans received their Canadian Citizenship certificates in a special historic ceremony. Previously Canadian Citizenship and the right to vote were denied to the Chinese Canadians since 1874.
Her two brothers, Wilson John Lee served in World War Two and Bill Lee, in the Korean conflict.
