When he was called up for the Second World War, he joined his cousin <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccmms.ca\/veteran-stories\/army\/victor-eric-wong\/\" target=\"_blank\">Victor E. Wong<\/a> at Camp Shilo in Manitoba. There they\u00a0took his\u00a0basic training together.<\/p>\n<p>Lee ended up in India on loan to British Intelligence&#8217;s\u00a0Special Operations Executive. He became\u00a0part of a secret unit called\u00a0Force 136.
