He was trained for infantry duties and then, along with his\u00a0brother <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccmms.ca\/veteran-stories\/army\/leonard-lee\/\" target=\"_blank\">Leonard Lee<\/a>, agreed to go to South East Asia. Landing\u00a0in India, Lee was\u00a0loaned to British Intelligence&#8217;s\u00a0Special Operations Executive and became part of a secret unit called\u00a0Force 136.
