Lee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Harry A. Lee of Toronto was one of the\u00a0first Chinese to be winged at a service school of the Royal Canadian Air Force. In July 1942, after a few months training at the No. 1 Bombing and Gunnery School, Lee was awarded his\u00a0wireless air gunner wings. He was 27 years old.<\/p>\n<p>In a <em>Globe and Mail<\/em>\u00a0newspaper article from July 12, 1943, Lee said &#8220;It has been swell in training.
