{"id":2705,"date":"2017-02-13T17:58:25","date_gmt":"2017-02-14T01:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ccmms.ca\/?page_id=2705"},"modified":"2026-01-29T17:08:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T01:08:11","slug":"charlie-chow","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ccmms.ca\/staging\/9619\/veteran-stories\/air-force\/charlie-chow\/","title":{"rendered":"Charlie Chow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Story courtesy of the Lethbridge Military Museum.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Flying Officer Charles Chow-Leong was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ling Chow-Leong of Lethbridge.\u00a0 He was born in 1922 and later attended White School near Wilson Siding and also studied at the Lethbridge Collegiate School.\u00a0 Charles worked for a time in the Ritz Cafe prior to enlisting in the Royal Canadian Air Force in May 1942.
